There are four areas of the draft Bill that might be thought to have a significant regulatory impact: the creation of OFCOM as a single regulator; spectrum trading; TV and radio services; media ownership. The separate regulatory assessments that were completed for each of these areas are included in this publication alongside a competition assessment and a look at the potential impact of other proposals in the draft Bill.
