This work is presented for the acceptance and approval of the public, touching a vital subject upon which little - attention has hitherto been paid. The methods Of preservmg Vision, the most precious and valuable of the senses, has been a subject too long neglected. Thousands grope along in almost total blindness, Who, by proper treatment, might have preserved their sight. It has been my aim to meet the necessity for correct information upon this interesting and important sub ject. Avoiding, as far as possible, technicalities and a scientific nomenclature, I have endeavored to present the subject in a popu.
