Description

This is an integration of multicultural research. The 16 chapters all cover necessary introductory psychology content and the multicultural research is accompanied by examples and critical thinking questions. The text discusses how readers can check their TRAIL (Thinking critically, Reading and remembering/rehearsing, Applying, Integrating and Learning), a pedagogical system built on principles of learning which leads students through the material and functions like SQ3R, but is more integral to psychology. The book includes a chapter on communication which addresses the growing interest in the application of psychological principles to communication issues, and contains an examination of the ethnic and gender differences in non-verbal communication.
