"New Zealand Artist, Martinus Sarangapany opened his solo exhibition 'The Gateway To Infinity' on Tuesday 3rd June 2014. Willing participants were ferried to view dreams captured in pencil, paint and ink, hung in the old boatman's house on Kuihi Island. Thanks to the support of locals Wiremu and Nau Puriri, access was granted for all to come and enjoy this rare occasion. Sarangapany's work investigates the surrealist ideas of illogical imagery. 'I aim to record these poetic realities, and what better way to gather imagery than by exploring the dreams of my own and others.'
