Description

The history of a little mining community that started in 1830 and ending in 1970. Home to over 300 men, women, and children. The book describes how the community was first organized, the brickyards and sewer pipe plants in the area, and how the community was transformed. It describes the lives and events of the people who not only started the community, but led the way to make it prosper. After a new section of highway was installed in early 1950, the land and area around it changed for the last time. Sometime after 1970 the last building along a deserted road, once the main route through Zalia, would be torn down. The little town of Zalia would vanish as though it was never there to begin with.
