A Brush with History is a collection of letters a young man wrote home to his family during his WWI service in France. Hugo M. Pfaltz grew up in Newark, NJ and graduated from Barringer High School and Rutgers College. He served with the 78th Lightning Division in the 303rd Engineers Company.
