Description

The constable of Deserton begs the missionary and his companion protector to solve the mystery of why so many of Deserton’s inhabitants disappear with the coming of every new moon. The desert has dangers no Galen missionary has ever faced, least of all the warring nomadic clans, fear of outlanders, and an empty city where all who lived were slaughtered thirty years ago. The young deacon must become the first missionary to have the courage and faith to meet these challenges and to defeat the Reven Sisterhood, the witches of the western sands. And will he solve the secret of a genocide that left a city barren?
