Monika Mori (known internationally as the artist MOO) was born in 1960 in Moedling, Austria, and has studied with Prof. Anneliese Beschorner. Since 2008, her work has been exhibited worldwide and is included in major and private collections.Mori interprets-as Goethe remarked-art as a mediator of the unspeakable. She communicates through her works and wants to re-animate, in the native word-sense. She works with bold colors and strokes allowing free elements of drips and dashes to bisect her canvases. Her subtle earth palette glows from the surface of the canvas and illuminates the striking dripped forms. Their uneven linear progress forms crowds, forests, circuitry-leading us inside the painting and beyond. The strength of the series Shattered Rainbow reflects the strength of the artist herself, and the intensity of the message she conveys.
