Dennis Soares was born and raised in Hawaii. For most of his life he has been a professional musician/recording artist and educator. For 25 years Dennis lived in Northern California where he met his wife, earned a B.A. and a M.A. in Humanities, and taught children in the Stockton Unified School District. Dennis composed and performed music at a very early age and this became his lifelong passion. Writing poetry is a relatively new pursuit that ties in very naturally with music composition. Today Dennis and his wife, Christina, perform music locally on the Big Island and enjoy collaborating on literary projects. This book contains short, insightful poems that will cause you to think about how you have put your life together. We hope you enjoy it.
