Classic Baseball includes many never-before-published photographs from the 1960s, along with more famous images from looss's illustrious Sports Illustrated career. The book also features several marvelous collages made by the photographer in which he puts together a main image and assorted related pictures in a large and fascinating whole. There are also several portraits of looss's favorite ballparks, such as Connie Mack Stadium, Wrigley Field, and Tiger Stadium in Detroit.
