Mike Nelson was selected to represent Britain at the Venice Biennale in 2011.This new publication designed by the artist, features two new texts, colour images of the Venice work in progress and a rich collection of documentation and archive materials relating both To The development of the exhibition and to previous works such as the Deliverance And The Patience (2001) and Magazin, Büyük Valide Han (2003), both of which informed the 2011 Venice commission. The final result is a beautiful, intimate book which formally echoes the fading, 'lived in' world Nelson has created within the solid walls of the British Pavilion for his exhibition I, IMPOSTOR. Published on the occasion of the exhibition Mike Nelson: I, IMPOSTOR at the 54th International Art Exhibition, La Biennale Di Venezia, June – November 2011.
