Description
Richard Williams (1808-1881) was born in Braxton County, West Virginia, the son of John and Polly Williams. He and his wife, Phoebe, had seven children, 1834-1855. Richard served in the Civil War with the Confederate States. Descendants listed, chiefly descendants of their son, William Hanson Williams (1845-1925), lived in West Virginia and elsewhere.
