Christian and Paulina (Steiner) Bixel were born in Richmond Township, Allen County, Ohio in the mid 1800's. They married and raised their family, farmed, and died there. Samuel and Lydia (Brenneman) Diller lived in German Township, Allen County, Ohio. They married in 1888 and raised four children. Both families were Mennonites.
