Frequently guided by glorious illuminations and resonances, the child's guardian angel protected her in times of peril. She was fond of all creation, often sharing what little she had with town orphans; thus she is known as the Saint of children. This is the first book in the Angel Kiss series. Each book will follow the life of a young person, a hero or heroine, tracing documented miracles and weaving fiction into historically significant moments in time. Karen K. Hoiland is a practicing attorney in Colorado who lives halfway between Denver and Boulder in a suburb with a panoramic view of the magnificent Rocky Mountains, from Longs Peak to Pikes Peak. She wouldn't live anywhere else. Still married to her high school sweetheart "after all these years," they have grown children: a son, recently married, and fraternal twin daughters.
