St. Bartholomew's Orpanage is being consolidated, but the children don't want to be separated. They come up with an alternative plan to present to the church council but the women of Dancing Deer bring the orphan girls into their homes for the holidays. Left, and by themselves, the boys leave in the snow three days before Christmas. While the citizens of Dancing Deer search for the boys, a desperate man robs their bank and speeds out of town. He is fast approaching a pivotal moment in his life - and a chance encounter where evil comes face to face with good.
