This book describes how consciousness, which is omnipresent and that by which we are aware, manifests immediately in our spacetime experience as the electromagnetic field and its various plasma vortices. The phenomena of awareness, experience, information, and comprehension are reflected in the structure and properties of the electromagnetic field itself. In this chapter ten field theories of consciousness are examined and are shown to be in congruence with one another and with a more comprehensive electromagnetic field theory of consciousness detailed in Appendix A, the Prbram-Bohm holoflux theory of consciousness.
