It is my firm conviction that everyone is called to provide leadership at some point in their life; that leadership may take place in the home, marketplace, school, or the church. We often overlook personal leadership because we are focused on positional leaders. The reality for most of us is that we do not lead an organization forward. We lead ourselves, our family, our church, and our interest groups forward. This type of leadership is more subtle, yet, just as important as leading an organization. This book contains observations and reflections on leadership I have witnessed as I walk through life. People are energized by these thoughts because they see anyone can be summoned to lead at any time, any place and any situation.
