In her attempt to escape, she is pursued by two more soldiers and kills them using the gun from the rapist. She leaves the city on a direct course for the shipping docks in search of a way across the ocean. Along the way, more soldiers confront her, but she uses their own hand grenades to kill them.At the docks, she hires a captain with a cargo ship to put her to work as a deck hand and get her out of the country. Her hope is to find the brother of her father who lives in the US but is unaware of his death during the commission of a crime. She attempts to blend into everyday life in her new country by going to work as a waitress, but a Russian contract killer finds her. With the help of a local policeman, she escapes and takes the first bus out of the city. She ends up in El Paso, Texas where she gets into a fight with a local gangster and kills him. That action catches the attention of a man who leads a government operation that does not officially exists. He hires her to kill the leader of a drug cartel in Mexico. To prepare her for the job, he puts his team to work training her skills normally reserved for a government trained assassin. That training includes helicopter flight skills.Upon completion of that mission, she is informed of her dead-ringer appearance for a billionaire heiress that recently died and left a multi-billion-dollar corporation hanging on a string for survival. She becomes that woman and runs the operation by simply providing moral support for the employees to continue doing the job they already do well. With Russian contract killers after her, life will continue to be challenging. In addition, a, terrorist organization is looking for the person who destroyed the Mexican cartel. She becomes involved with the officer who helped her escape the first attack of the Russian contract killer. The two of them become lovers and uncover a conspiracy in France that has imprisoned the heiress believed to be dead. The biggest surprise comes when they realize the heiress is Kari's twin sister who is very much alive. All the while, Kari is pursued by a demon called "Satan's Child," and shielded by spirits from the afterlife who seek to destroy that demon. The ends all tie together in a final battle involving all the players pitting good against evil.
