Herr Heinrich "Indiana" Schliemann used this hypothesis for solemnly baptizing as "Troy" the 100 by 100 meter excavation (with dynamite) site of a minuscule ancient settlement. Soon he announced the finding of gold of Priam artifacts that he himself designed and manufactured by Italian jewelers Bulgari. True name of Troy is Schliemannstadt?
