"The purpose of this research project was to examine resources that can be useful in preventing cyberbullying within the community and school system. Through using an Action Research Method, my intent was to engage key stakeholders and agencies to strategize remedies surrounding cyberbullying behavior. Further, this project has explored ways to reduce risks of cyberbullying by developing partnerships within local communities and the school systems as a concerted effort to prevent threats and the execution of threats towards those victimized. Additionally, we have examined the aggressive behavior associated with cyberbullying. Conducting such an analysis would inform the types of intervention required to address the root causes of cyber bullying and thereby circumvent through intervention. This investigatory research would help to mitigate bullying behavior by determining probable causality. One potential outcome was the development of infrastructures that would serve as safeguards to prevent the execution of life threatening occurrences involving local schools, police departments and special interest groups. The intent of this project was to educate the community by broadening the awareness of cyberbullying and building stronger community relations."--Abstract, p. 1.
