About the Author Ms. Faith Nomathemba (Tete) Msomi was born in Lamontville, near Durban, South Africa. After losing her parents at an early age and growing up under the care of her sister and uncle, she set her sights on a culinary education and a life working abroad. Relying on her strong faith in God, Msomi saw her dreams come true as she traveled around the world to work in the hospitality industry. She remains in the United States, working in Florida, viewing every day and every adventure as a learning opportunity.
