Description

A local woman suddenly takes on a new identity and goes on the run to another town. Meanwhile, Cathcart's respected district attorney, Turner Redland, is being threatened with blackmail for no discernible reason. Defense attorney Gail Brevard and her husband and law partner, Conrad Osterwitz, are drawn into the net. When a local con artist and possible witness turns up dead, there are plenty of suspects for the crime. Will Gail be able to make sense of it all in order to save the innocent and bring the guilty to justice?
