A hybrid stage play that incorporates elements from film and thrusts them onto the stage. The setting is between two races of humanity that are trying to save their dying world. Downfall was first produced on November 16th 2012 at Anderson University in Belk Theatre. The performance was advertised through posters and a short youtube trailer. On opening night, the show was sold out with many more well on the way. The overflowing audience received the show with great attention and awe. Being staged in a Black Box Theatre, the audience felt as if they were a part of the production. Yaniv, the protagonist of Downfall, was played by Peter Crawford, a Junior Theatre Major at Anderson University. Peter also played as P.T. Barnum in Anderson's Musical Production of "Barnum". "Barnum" was also nominated and attended the KCACTF South Eastern Region Festival in February of 2013. Downfall's Antagonist, Viktor, was played by Junior Theatre Major Tim Gravely. Tim received a standing ovation in Downfall's opening for such an outstanding performance. Tim is currently cast as the Baker in Anderson's Production of "Into The Woods" which is scheduled in the Fall of 2013. Theatre Graduate Josh Taylor is currently writing part two of the Arthus Trilogy which is scheduled to be released in August of 2013.
