In Exodus 17:8-13, the bible declares that Israel was being attacked by Amalek in a place called Rephidim. Moses instructed Joshua to choose some men to fight with Amalek. While Joshua and the men fought with Amalek, Moses stood on top of a mountain with the rod of God in his hands. In verse 11 of that text, it clearly states that as long as Moses held his hands up, Israel prevailed. But when he let down his hands, his enemies prevailed. When we lift up our hands in total submission to God, we prevail. But when we let our hands down, and we stop praising and giving God the glory, that's when the enemy prevails. I don't know your situation. But I do know from study and experience that no matter what you're going through, you can come out. But you've got to come out with your hands up!In this book, I share my past experiences to show you that I'm not just blowing smoke. I've actually been through the storm, the rain, the heartache and the pain that many of you are going through right at this very moment. Though our life and experiences aren't the same, our God is the same. Just as He brought me out, that same God will bring you out. The pages of this book will make you laugh, cry and prayerfully inspire you to come out victorious, with your hands up!
