It goes from bad to worse when Porcelli captures Paul's wife and police pathologist Dr. Ellen Mankin, Jerry's girlfriend. The women are held in a fourth-floor icy basement to be exchanged at dawn on a windswept snowy plain. Jerry and Paul battle their bosses, bitter cold, and blinding snow storms as they fight to bring the master criminal down before he and Miguel escape the country in a stolen bus. Jerry refuses to let this maniac slip away again.
