Glenn Hester is a retired law enforcement officer, having served 30 years with both the Sullivan County Sheriffs Office and Glynn County Police. Having lost his first born son to murder in 1976, Glenn wanted to commit suicide the day before what would have been his son’s 4th birthday. A voice inside him said that there were special plans for him, so he aborted the attempt. Glenn developed routines in magic to show messages to youth and adults on crime prevention topics that would help prevent them from being victim’s of crime. Having looked back on his life that led him to developing and presenting programs for youth and adults on Police Magic, Glenn wonders if the path he took is the one that voice meant.
