Cajuns with deep ties to the region, industrious Croatian immigrants and hardworking Vietnamese émigrés all contributed to Biloxi’s seafood industry. Through the Civil War, devastating hurricanes and shifting economies, these hard-fishing families have endured, building Biloxi and forming its character.
