In the midst of life's devastating pain and shattered dreams, we can choose either to run from God or to run to His wide open arms, trusting His goodness when all is dark around us. Many of these poems in this book came about during a troubled marriage which eventually ended in divorce. These poems again encouraged Eileen when her life was changed by the suicide of her 23-year-old son, John, in 2011. These poems show how, when Jesus is your heart's desire above all others and all else, God can be your peace, joy, and strength in the midst of shattered dreams. Eileen's prayer is that these poems will deepen your heart's desire to have Jesus Christ first in your life.
