This book is about drug addiction, perversion, Satan, demons, betrayal, and the redemption of the lowest of us all-me. I would tell you why I was completely unwilling to write it, but it is all in there. You know the stuff, or maybe not because no one wants to think about those things. No, the only benefit we get from those memories is when the shame surfaces, we gain a little cheek color. This book puts on display the contents of my life, the trash that I would have kept hidden for an eternity. The book seemed to take a life of its own, as I suppose most books do. I sobbed while telling about a crack addiction that destroyed my life completely. I remembered the very words of the demons that tortured me. This story is about what happened as I smoked pure evil. How that evil opened a door in me, a world in-between worlds. What on earth could you possibly get out of that? I'd tell you that maybe you could gain a stronger faith or at least a little comfort that you are not as bad off as me. It may help you see something about addiction that gives you hope for someone you love.
