Description
This is a true story of a couple who, at the dawn of the twentieth century, purchased a strip of land in the Eagle Creek Valley, eight miles north of Leavenworth, Washington.They shared their scanty resources with their family, especially their grandchildren, who looked forward to the summer months when they could play and work with their cousins and be with their grandparents. This time together formulated a relationship like brothers and sisters. Through their beloved grandparents these children learned many valuable lessons about the principles of life, and how to live happily with nothing but the land and each other.
