Eating disorder is a form of a mental disorder that is characterized by abnormal eating habits. These disorders cause negative effect on an individual's mental or physical health. Preventive measures focus on early identification of an eating disorder. Some of the most common treatments of eating disorders are cognitive behavioral therapy, recreation therapy, art therapy, medical nutrition therapy, dialectal behavioral therapy, and family therapy.
