Physical therapy, also known as physiotherapy, is a healthcare specialty that deals with injuries or illnesses that limit functional mobility. It aims to ease pain and help function, move and live better. Physical therapy comprises trained professionals who evaluate and treat abnormalities using physical examination, diagnosis, prognosis, patient education, physical intervention, rehabilitation, disease prevention and health promotion.
