The Empty Chair is my heartfelt story of learning to heal and trust the process of grief through the love of Christ. You'll find my story to be honest and sharing. I dug deep into my heart to express the emotions I have encountered while learning to live with grief. Through each loss I learned something about myself. Jesus took the opportunity to mold me into whom he wanted me to be. Learning to endure grief was part of His plan. Each of us will face tribulation in this life; each of us, at some point, will look across the room to find only the empty chair staring back at us. Learning how to replace the pain with joy and the void with happiness can only come through tribulations. The Empty Chair shares my journey with you and allows everyone to share in my experience. "Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green and will not be anxious in the year of drought nor will cease from yielding fruit" (Jer. 17:7-8).
