The devil is hard at work because he knows his time is short. He is seeking who he may devour, and it is up to us to fight the good fight. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Eph. 6:12, KJV) Knowing the past, the present, and what lies ahead will help and prepare us to be effective in both helping others understand what is going on in this day and age in which we live, as well as understand things to come and being able to stand firm in our faith even in the face of persecution. We can have confidence in knowing that God is in control all of the time as we walk through this world with its valleys and mountaintops as we walk by faith. And Enoch also, the seventh form of Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands and thousands of his saints, to execute judgment, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. (Jude 1:14-15, KJV) Jesus is coming. Are you ready? All that shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved for we who are saved are not appointed onto wrath and the Lord has not given the spirit of fear but of love, power, and a sound mind!
