We walked inside, and it was so obvious the brother did not want to leave me alone. We entered the partially lit room, which had an open doorway to the outside where there was what looked like a picnic area. Sam came in the partially lit room and kissed me on the cheek. I could see his quite-handsome face somewhat. Then he went into where I assumed to be the bathroom. When he came back out, I could not see his face, and he took me by the hand and walked ahead of me outside. We sat down with his back to me. When he turned around, the shock had to show all over my face because I heard the men inside the room having a good laugh at my reaction. Not being judgmental, but his face looked like he was...really, I can't describe it. I felt like I was in the presence of Satan himself. Have you ever had your heart broken? I'm sure most everyone has at least once in their life. Did you feel you couldn't go on? What did you do to mend your broken heart? Read how the author of this book, Broken: God Restores, survived the pain.
