This book titled Reflections is a collection of previously written columns (1994-2001) which first appeared on the faith page of the Winnipeg Free Press. It is selection of columns from those years. Many people have asked me to offer these writings in a more permanent form... Why not put them into a book? What they were meant to be and what I still hope they are, can be perhaps captured in one word: they are invitations to look again, to pause, to dig deeper, and reflect on the small moments and memories, and big questions, the personal and public events that might be missed. Thus the invitation to reflect and see in our lives the spirit of meanings and matterings. In what we name to be ordinary, there is the extraordinary, in the natural the miracle, and in the secular the sacred.
