One day, the stagehand, Joseph Bouquet, is found hanged, presumably by the Phantom. At the same time, Christine Daaé, a young soprano, has been tutored by what she believes to be the Angel of Music, sent by her deceased father. The story is a romantic drama with a flair action. It is a tale of a lonely man that has never in his life known love. When he found someone he might love, he became obsessive, possessive and jealous.
