A comparison of the Maori, Moriori and Tongan languages and a short account of where Tangaroa came from and the surrounding history. Thor Heyerdahl's account of the white gods of Peru that came to the Pacific around 500 AD sparked this book which includes a lot of Tongan oral history I have picked up from my grandmother and other storytellers as a kid in Tonga. Some explanations of why I think that Thor Heyerdahl was right that there was also a migration from South America into the Pacific Islands. A list of sources for further reading is provided.
