Avec un formidable sens du récit, elle restitue l’odeur de l’argile, le poids de la terre, les bruits des passants au-dessus de sa tête, la peur constante d’être écouté par la Stasi, et l’étrange accord passé avec la télévision américaine, qui filme la tentative d’évasion au risque d’une explosion géopolitique.
