Les colloques de Chambéry, en novembre 2007 ("Le cannabis dans tous ses états") et en juin 2009 ("Les cyberaddictions") ont réuni chacun plus de quatre cents participants, médecins, infirmières, psychologues, éducateurs, travailleurs sociaux, élus, responsables associatifs, signe d'une attente et d'une mobilisation autour du concept d'addiction qui traverse notre société. Depuis trois années, notre réflexion s'est portée sur les usages de substances psycho actives et aussi l'émergence de nouvelles conduites addictives, souvent nommées addictions sans produit ou comportementales. Notre réflexion porte sur les évolutions de la jeunesse, les contextes sociétaux et sur les réponses, qu'il nous faut aménager ou inventer. En regard d'une réalité qui s'avère complexe à comprendre, notre Comité de Pilotage a fait le choix de travailler d'abord la thématique des addictions à l'écran puis d'aborder les jeux d'argent et de hasard, nous renvoyant à un ensemble d'interrogations quant à : la socialité des usages ; les profils des joueurs, leurs trajectoires ; les niveaux d'usage, entre risque, abus et dépendance ; les conséquences sur l'environnement ; et enfin les réponses soignantes et préventives que nous avons à construire ensemble.
