Pour Richard Poulin, l'exploitation sexuelle des enfants constitue aujourd'hui l'un des aspects les plus sordides de la prostitution - cet esclavage moderne si bien toléré - qui brise d'innombrables vies dans le monde, et ce dans l'indifférence générale.
