Die Arbeit untersucht die museumspadagogischen Moglichkeiten, die es zur Prasentation von Keramik gibt. Anhand einer kritischen Analyse von funf unterschiedlichen Museen, welche das Thema Keramik unter verschiedenen Gesichtspunkten dokumentieren, werden deren Prasentationskonzepte kritisch beleuchtet und der Stand der Keramikprasentation in Deutschland geschildert. Es werden Wege zu einer besucherorientierten Prasentation von Keramik aufgezeigt, um dem Anspruch des Museums zu entsprechen, Bildungs- und Erlebnisstatte fur weite Kreise der Bevolkerung zu sein."
