The book Europe, The Second Promised land is about a group of hopeless undocumented people, illegal economic refugees who lived predominantly on a street in Rotterdam(The Netherlands) called Dordtselaan and the surrounding area. And how these people tried to survive as well as they could or as evil as they could in their new environment. Extruded from their countries of origin by the hopelessness of the situations there. To the surprise of many, they came here in another, not so hopeless, but also not exactly rich in opportunities for people in their situation.Their lives were far from the rosy images they were told in alimentation central in Mamfe for example. And yet they did everything to make their lives a success. It is a story of motivation and perseverance ,a positive, determined and respectfull attitude do lead to success.
