It follows the parallel developments in science, philosophy, politics, & social history of the twentieth century, underlining the interconnecting facets in the various disciplines. To date, no other portrayal of the characteristics of Modernism in its multiple forms has been attempted in such a manner or presented in one volume. Based on more than ten years of systematic research, the author has successfully stopped this gap, drawing up a picture of the development of Modernism as a continuous, unified & meaningful whole. The Author: Sandro Bocola, born in 1931 in Trieste, Italy, grew up in Libya & Switzerland. After long periods spent in Barcelona & Parls, he has been living in Zurich since 1970. He worked as an artist, sculptor, exhibition designer, & graphic artist, & is now especially well-known for his theories on the psychology of art, which he first started publishing in 1981.
