Das SCOPE (Short Child Occupational Profile) ist ein betätigungsorientiertes, klientenzentriertes Erhebungsinstrument, das auf den Konzepten des Modells der menschlichen Betätigung (MOHO) basiert. Mithilfe von 25 Items (aus den Bereichen Volition, Habituation, Kommunikations- und Interaktionsfertigkeiten, prozesshafte Fertigkeiten, motorische Fertigkeiten und Umwelt) können Anwender die persönlichen und kontextabhängigen Faktoren erfassen, die die Betätigungsperformanz und Partizipation eines Kindes beeinflussen, fördern oder behindern. Die Stärken und Schwierigkeiten in Bezug auf die Betätigungspartizipation werden nach der Bewertung in einem Übersichtsprofil dargestellt. Anwendung, Durchführung und Bewertung des SCOPES werden ausführlich erklärt. Drei Fallbeispiele zeigen auf, wie Bewertungsentscheidungen getroffen werden können und verdeutlichen die aus den SCOPE-Bewertungen resultierenden Möglichkeiten der Behandlungsplanung in der Praxis. Neben den Bewertungsbögen und verschiedenen Interviewleitfäden werden auch Ressourcen, die die Dokumentation und Ziel- und Behandlungsplanung unterstützen, zur Verfügung gestellt. Alle (Arbeits-)Bögen können für den persönlichen Gebrauch kopiert werden.
