Die vorliegende Arbeit untersucht Nietzsches Philosophie in Hinsicht auf ihre tragisch-dionysischen Aspekte. Obwohl sich der tragisch-dionysische Gedanke in Nietzsches Philosophie wandelt, bleibt er doch ein konstantes Motiv im Denken Nietzsches. Aus diesem Motiv erwächst Nietzsches gesamte Philosophie. Der Autor versucht zu zeigen, dass der tragisch-dionysische Gedanke den zentralen Anknüpfungspunkt für Nietzsches Ästhetik, seine Metaphysikkritik seinen Ansatz zur Überwindung des Nihilismus sowie der Moderne darstellt. Die Arbeit ist somit im Wesentlichen der Versuch, Nietzsches Philosophie als insgesamt tragisch-dionysische zu interpretieren, wobei sie den grundlegenden tragisch-dionysischen Gedanken von einseitigen Beschränkungen befreien will.
