Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa stratifikasi sosial sangat mempengaruhi adanya klasifikasi desain kebaya Sunda dalam masyarakat di Bandung hingga tahun 1941 dengan berakhirnya Kolonialisme Belanda. Desain kebaya Sunda terklasifikasi dalam 2 kelompok, yakni kebaya Sunda untuk menak dan kebaya Sunda untuk cacah. Dengan melihat desainnya dapat diketahui status sosial pemakainya, kebaya menak dan cacah terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan ditinjau dari line, shape, texture, proportion, ragam hias serta gaya kebaya. Kebaya Sunda untuk menak lebih bervariasi desainnya, hal ini disebabkan menak mempunyai kedudukan dan gaya hidup yang tinggi dalam masyarakat. Menak lebih mementingkan fungsi estetis sehingga sangat berpengaruh terhadap penggunaan tekstil, keserasian, kerapihan serta keharmonisan dalam berpenampilan. Untuk menentukan desainnya lebih berorientasi pada sifat-sifat dasar tradisional dengan memperhatikan ketentuan dan peraturan yang berlaku pada saat itu. Sedangkan cacah merupakan stratifikasi terendah dalam masyarakat hanya mempunyai sedikit varisi/terbatas desain kebayanya, yakni dominan samleh kecil. Hal ini disebabkan cacah lebih mementingkan fungsi praktis serta bentuk desainnya lebih berorientasi pada nilai-nilai budaya tradisional. Diatas tahun 1941 dengan berakhirnya stratifikasi sosial maka berakhir pula klasifikasi kebaya Sunda dalam masyarakat di Bandung khususnya dan diluar Bandung umumnya. Setelah dihapuskanya dan menghilangnya stratifikasi sosial pada masyarakat maka desain kebaya golongan atas, menengah dan bawah menyatu dalam desain yang ada pada saat itu yang sangat dipengaruhi oleh perkembangan mode dan konstruksinya. Dengan demikian desain kebaya Sunda yang dipakai dalam seluruh lapisan masyarakat, baik dari golongan bawah hingga atas lebih bersifat umum.
