Biz de çalışmamızda, postkolonyal edebiyat eleştirisinin verileri ışığında modern Türk edebiyatına yöneldik ve kolonyal süreçlerle ilgili olgularınTürkiye'deki yansısını estetik düzlemde aradık. Bu bağlamda Abdülhak Hamid'den Cenab Şahabedin'e, Nazım Hikmet'ten Sezai Karakoç'a İsmet Özel'den Sevinç Çokum'a kadar pek çok yazarın/şairin edebi eserlerinde kolonyalizm ve ilgili olgulara bakışı sorunsallaştırdık.
