«الرسائل الخليجية» هو الكتاب الخامس في سلسلة كتبنا الجماعية التي بدأناها بـ«باريس كما يراها العرب» و«الرسائل الدمشقيّة» و«المئويّة الثانية للقضيّة الفلسطينيّة» و«الرسائل المغربيّة». حرَّر نصوص هذا الكتاب اثنان وعشرون كاتباً عربياً من بلدان مختلفة، توزّعت نصوصهم على بابين: الأوّل يفتح على نصوص حرّة وشخصيّة تناولت 14 مدينة وإقليماً خليجيّاً، ويجدر بالذكر هنا أنّ بعض المدن كالدوحة والمنامة والكويت قد استأثرت بنصّين، بينما كان نصّ واحد من نصيب بقيّة المدن التي شملت كلّاً من مكّة المكرّمة والمدينة المنوّرة وجدّة وإقليم نجد في المملكة العربيّة السعوديّة، ومسقط ونزوى وإقليم ظفار في سلطنة عمان، وأبو ظبي ودبي والعين والشارقة في الإمارات العربيّة المتّحدة. أمّا الباب الثاني، فيقدّم أبحاثاً ومقاربات عن قضايا خليجيّة في الاقتصاد والاجتماع والثقافة، ولا سيّما الموضوع النفطي والإعلامي وغيرهما من المواضيع المفصلية في الحديث عن الخليج. نصوص هذا الكتاب من تأليف: ابن بطوطة، يونس أبو أيّوب، وفاء ثابت المزغني، فيصل جلول، سيّار الجميّل، نشأت سالم الحلبي، ياسمين حنّاوي، نوال الحور، عادل خليفة، أمين الريحاني، نوال سالم، عزّة سليمان، سعدة الصابري، جلول صدّيقي، قيس العزّاوي، وفاء فكاني، جمال يوسف فيّاض، روعة قاسم، سامي كليب، فيروز محمّد يحي الولي، عبد الفتّاح نعّوم، عبد الله ولد محمّدي.
