Bu araştırmada lise matematik dersi çember ve daire konusuna yönelik geliştirilen STEM etkinliklerinin, öğrencilerin problem çözme becerileri, bilgi-işlemsel düşünme becerileri, STEM alanlarına yönelik ilgilerine etkisi ve öğrencilerin bu etkinliklere yönelik görüşlerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu araştırmada karma araştırma yöntemi desenlerinde biri olan gömülü desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri, 2017-2018 eğitim-öğretim yılı bahar döneminde 10. sınıf matematik dersi kapsamında öğrenim gören 33’ er deney ve kontrol grubu olmak üzere toplamda 66 öğrenciden toplanmıştır. Geliştirilen STEM etkinlikleri beş hafta boyunca uygulanmıştır.
